JM ENVIRONMENTAL, INC., was the first Contractor to have a Private Fire Clean Up Application approved by the Sonoma County Building Department after the October 2017 Wildfires. Fire Debris Removal & Fire Debris Cleanup requires 40 Hour hazwoper certification for each employee on the job site.
ALL JM ENVIRONMENTAL, INC., field employees have their 40 Hour hazwoper certifications.
JM ENVIRONMENTAL, INC., offers a disciplined approach to Fire Debris Removal & Fire Debris Clean Up to minimize the collateral damage during the demolition process therefore reducing the build back costs. For example, we only remove as much soil as necessary to achieve a clean soil test and avoid the unnecessary cost of importing clean fill dirt for a new foundation. We also try to save flat work, foundations, landscaping, swimming pools, utilities, and other items relative to the function of the property.
The scope for all of our Fire Debris Removal & Fire Debris Cleanup projects is similar; removal of all debris and ash, the complete demolition of structures, carports, footings, infrastructure, driveways, hardscape, and all damaged landscape. Additional site work includes the identification and capping of all utilities, with Christy boxes, fluorescent markings, and final grading of the sites.
We leave every site clean and clear of ALL debris, with SWPPP approved erosion control in place, using straw waddle, silt fence, and jute cloth covering over the final grade to meet and exceed the requirements of every Building Department, Government Agency, and Oversight Technician. Every Jobsite is hand raked and magnetically swept. We remove structural above grade and below grade concrete other contractors are instructed to leave behind.
Final Close Out Project Documentation
Every Jobsite has an extensive Final Close Out Package consisting of permits, waste tickets, waste manifests, Asbestos, and Cam-17 Soil Testing Reports, along with the requisite self-certification documents, to meet the requirements of Napa County, Sonoma County, and the City of Santa Rosa Building Departments for Re-Construction Permits.
Hand-Sifting for Personal and Sentimental Items is Provided for Every Client
"Your crew members were able to locate my stepmom's wedding ring underneath heavy fire debris and piles of roof tile and ash.
To say that I was shocked and amazed is an understatement."
Final Job site with SWPPP Approved Erosion Control in Place
"JM was cautions with the site, did not just rip and tear the property. They put down plywood so as to not crack the driveway or any curbs. In short - they were gentle and respectful of the property. The neighbor next to them used FEMA and the comparison was astonishing."
