JM ENVIRONMENTAL, INC., SUPERVISOR's and WORKERS have EPA LEAD CERTIFICATIONS The EPA is a Federal Entity; The California Department of Public Health oversees and issues these Certifications. Nevada does not regulate Construction Worker Lead Safety. The EPA LEAD Certification includes a physical to confirm Supervisor's and Workers are physically fit. The CDPH Certification includes a blood test to confirm their blood is free from lead and zinc. JM ENVIRONMENTAL, INC., SUPERVISOR's and WORKERS also complete LEAD Renovator Certification Refresher Training. Lead-based paint is usually found in paint or a surface coating affixed to a component in or on a structure constructed prior to January 1, 1978. A Lead Hazard is defined as deteriorated lead-based paint, lead contaminated dust, lead contaminated soil, disturbing lead-based paint or presumed lead-based paint without containment, or any other nuisance which may result in persistent and quantifiable lead exposure.
